Sycamore tops are not commonly found in much of the guitar world. At Showalter Guitars, however, this is one of their specialties. They find their Sycamore trees right in the Shenandoah Valley and mill the lumber onsite. The beauty of perfectly quarter sawn Sycamore can not be beat, and many have found they prefer the tone of Sycamore over traditional Spruce top as well.

Serial No 165 hosts another local traditional wood for back and sides. Oak isn't new to anyone, but have you ever played an Oak guitar? Combining these two local timbers creates a Shenandoah Valley masterpiece that wants to sing your stories and carry your musical emotions to another generation. This example is made especially unique with the bookmatched spalted stripe down the center of the back. We're not sure we actually want to sell this one!

Returns:

Web orders- returns accepted within 5 days of delivery for new products and a refund is issued minus the cost of return shipping or a customer may ship back at own expense for a full refund.

In-Person purchases- returns are accepted within 5 days of purchase for new products.

Show Returns- For purchases made at shows, expo's, or meets, the return period for new items expires at the conclusion of the show's sheduled hours and dates.

Used and demo items are sold as described and may not be returned unless they arrive materially different than described. In-person purchases of used items are sold As-Is.

All returns must be in original packaging and in original, unused condition. Damages and signs of use will be assessed and charged against a refund if found.

Shipping damage- If products are damaged during shipping, it must be reported to us within 24 hours of receipt. All packaging must be retained until a damage claim is complete.
