From his proprietary bracing patterns to his signature body shapes (S, F, O, the compact Wee Lowden, GL-10, and GL-J), the goal is always the same: a guitar that resonates freely, stays balanced across the spectrum, and maintains clarity even in complex passages. Every Lowden is built start-to-finish in the Downpatrick workshop with a focus on precision, consistency, and musicality. The team works slowly and deliberately: hand-carved bracing, carefully matched tops and backs, glass-smooth fretwork, and ultra-clean joinery.
