Tonewoods

The Master Grade Sinker Redwood top comes from old-growth logs reclaimed after decades (or longer) submerged in riverbeds. The long immersion densifies the wood, yielding a warm, fast-responding voice in the cedar family while adding headroom, complexity, and a distinctive blooming sustain. Notes open with richness and overtone bloom that reward both delicate fingerstyle and more assertive playing.

Paired with Master Grade Cocobolo back and sides (Dalbergia retusa), the guitar gains depth, piano-like fundamentals, and abundant harmonic complexity. Cocobolo is prized for its dense, rosewood-like character—rich lows, articulate mids, and shimmering highs—along with spectacular figure that often runs from deep reds and oranges through black streaks. Returns:

Web orders- returns accepted within 5 days of delivery for new products and a refund is issued minus the cost of return shipping or a customer may ship back at own expense for a full refund.

In-Person purchases- returns are accepted within 5 days of purchase for new products.

Show Returns- For purchases made at shows, expo's, or meets, the return period for new items expires at the conclusion of the show's scheduled hours and dates.

Used and demo items are sold as described and may not be returned unless they arrive materially different than described. In-person purchases of used items are sold As-Is.

All returns must be in original packaging and in original, unused condition. Damages and signs of use will be assessed and charged against a refund if found.

Shipping damage- If products are damaged during shipping, it must be reported to us within 24 hours of receipt. All packaging must be retained until a damage claim is complete.
