A wide, hand-sewn strap from Jodi Head’s Brooklyn shop, built for players who want the guitar to sit easy and the strap to look like it belongs on the instrument. The Sandy Python pairs a 3-inch python snakeskin face with white leather trim over a full leather body — enough surface to spread the weight of a dreadnought or jumbo without the bulk of a padded sling.

Jodi Head has been making straps in New York since the late 1990s, first as a hand-beader for boutiques, then for working guitarists. Her pieces have hung on Buddy Guy, Emmylou Harris, Warren Haynes, and Les Paul. The Sandy line is the quieter side of that shop: no studs, no fringe, just scale pattern, leather, and stitching.

The 3-inch width rides the shoulder instead of cutting into it, which matters on a long set or a heavy acoustic. Hand sewing holds the snakeskin to the leather body, and the adjustable tail runs to 55 inches. White leather against the sandy python pattern keeps it from reading costume — closer to a well-cut belt than a stage prop.

International Orders: Contact us to make a purchase for international delivery. All international orders must be pre-paid via non-revocable funds and clear before shipping- there are no exceptions. A shipping quote will be provided prior to purchase.

Returns:

Web orders- returns accepted within 5 days of delivery for new products and a refund is issued minus the cost of return shipping or a customer may ship back at own expense for a full refund.

In-Person purchases- returns are accepted within 5 days of purchase for new products.

Show Returns- For purchases made at shows, expo's, or meets, the return period for new items expires at the conclusion of the show's scheduled hours and dates.

Used and demo items are sold as described and may not be returned unless they arrive materially different than described. In-person purchases of used items are sold As-Is.

All returns must be in original packaging and in original, unused condition. Damages and signs of use will be assessed and charged against a refund if found.

Shipping damage- If products are damaged during shipping, it must be reported to us within 24 hours of receipt. All packaging must be retained until a damage claim is complete.
