Furch Vintage 3 OOMs-AV a Adirondack and Granadillo

Furch Vintage 3 OOMs-AV a
Solid AAA Adirondack Spruce / Mexican Granadillo

The Vintage 3 OOMs-AV a delivers the power and clarity of classic Adirondack paired with the focused voice of Mexican granadillo in a compact, short-scale package. Individually voiced AAA-grade solid Adirondack spruce tops give this guitar exceptional dynamic range, strong projection, and outstanding headroom, while the solid Mexican granadillo back and sides contribute a clear, articulate response with excellent definition and a refined midrange presence.

The OOMs body shape uses the same proportions as Furch’s OOM but with a 12th-fret neck joint and a short 24 9/16″ (624 mm) scale. The result is the balanced, articulate tone of a full Orchestra Model size with the easier reach and comfortable feel of a shorter scale—ideal for players who want full expression without the stretch of a standard scale length.

Vintage-inspired appointments include Hawaiian koa binding with a contrast line, herringbone purfling, and a green abalone double-ring rosette. The fretboard, bridge, and headstock overlay are exotic ziricote, finished with white pearl quadratic inlays. A flat vintage-style headstock carries the Furch Heritage logo (introduced for the company’s 45th anniversary in 2026). The Full-Pore Vintage Finish is hand-brushed for a traditional look while remaining thin enough to let the top resonate freely.

Playability is refined by Furch’s CNR System® Active neck joint. This design uses a carbon-reinforced truss rod, an extended L-shaped heel structure, and a humidity-responsive wood expansion element that automatically maintains consistent string action across changing conditions. A simple adjustment screw allows precise action changes without traditional neck resets. The African mahogany neck has Furch’s Soft V profile and a 1 3/4″ (45 mm) nut. Gotoh SE700 Gold Patina tuners (1:15 ratio) provide reliable tuning stability.

Includes a durable Furch T-Line hard-shell case. Made in the Czech Republic.
