Furch Red Deluxe Gc-SR a Sitka and Rosewood

Furch Red Deluxe Gc-SR a

The Red Deluxe Gc-SR is Furch’s flagship Grand Auditorium cutaway, built for players who want refined tone, exceptional playability, and understated luxury. It pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with  solid Indian rosewood back and sides, both individually voiced for a clear, open, and dynamically responsive voice that balances bright clarity with rich fundamental warmth.

The Grand Auditorium body with Venetian cutaway offers excellent projection and easy access to the upper frets. Furch’s Bevel Duo—koa bevels on both the forearm and ribcage edges—adds significant playing comfort for longer sessions without compromising the guitar’s elegant lines. Koa binding with a white line, abalone purfling, a premium koa-and-abalone rosette, and a figured ziricote bridge complete the refined appointments.

The African mahogany neck features Furch’s Soft V profile, a 25 9/16" scale, 1 3/4" nut width, and a figured ziricote fingerboard with pearl Roman numeral inlays and linear side markers. The CNR System® Active neck joint provides outstanding stability, dual-action truss-rod adjustment, and a humidity-responsive expansion element that helps maintain consistent action and playability across changing environments.

Gotoh 510 Silver Patina tuners (1:21 ratio) with polished ebony buttons deliver precise, reliable tuning. The instrument is finished in Furch’s resonance-enhancing Full-Pore High-Gloss on the body, with a smooth-slide satin neck, and is protected by a transparent anti-scratch pickguard. It ships in a durable hardshell case.
