Why we carry the Little Jane

Our clients asked us to find the best travel guitars available. We purchased every major brand and lived with them for several months, traveling, packing, and playing them on car trips, plane trips, camping trips, and even sailing trips. We found a few things: typical travel size guitars sacrifice sound in a major way for a slight savings on space- they were not much more convenient than a full size instrument; in environments with anything more than crickets, they were difficult for the player to hear; and most travel guitars use low quality materials including wood (or not wood) and tuners.

Of all the guitars we tested, one solved for all of the shortcomings we found- the Furch Little Jane. Furch is well known for crafting well made, great sounding guitars and the Little Jane is no exception. No, it doesn’t boom like a dread, but it is far louder than every other guitar we tested. With Furch’s neck storage system using a secondary sound hold facing the player, there were no issues hearing it, even in noisier environments. All LJ’s are made with solid, high quality wood, not laminates or plastic, and every component is high quality. Lastly, they pack down to an included mid size backpack - a seriously convenient size and incredible space savings over fixed neck guitars.

Free standard shipping within the Continental U.S. Delivery typically takes 5-8 business days. Express Shipping is available for an additional charge.

Returns:

Web orders- returns accepted within 5 days of delivery for new products and a refund is issued minus the cost of return shipping or a customer may ship back at own expense for a full refund.

In-Person purchases- returns are accepted within 5 days of purchase for new products.

Show Returns- For purchases made at shows, expo's, or meets, the return period for new items expires at the conclusion of the show's sheduled hours and dates.

Used and demo items are sold as described and may not be returned unless they arrive materially different than described. In-person purchases of used items are sold As-Is.

All returns must be in original packaging and in original, unused condition. Damages and signs of use will be assessed and charged against a refund if found.

Shipping damage- If products are damaged during shipping, it must be reported to us within 24 hours of receipt. All packaging must be retained until a damage claim is complete.
