Cirrus C000 (S) Orchestra Acoustic Guitar – Pre-War Inspiration in a Modern Guitar

The Cirrus C000  is a faithful recreation of the classic pre-war OM/000-style guitar, prized for its exceptional balance and all-around playability. Hand built in Michigan by Cirrus Guitars, this model delivers rich, dynamic tone with surprising projection from its comfortable smaller body — ideal for fingerstyle, strumming, vocal accompaniment, blues, folk, and studio work. The "S" is for "Standard" referring to the depth of the guitar, as opposed to "D" for "Deep Body."

Standout Features:

  • Vintage-Inspired Tone: Hand-scalloped, forward-shifted Adirondack spruce bracing on a solid Sitka (or upgraded Adirondack) top produces sweet trebles, warm mids, and articulate bass response. The C000 excels as a versatile "do-it-all" guitar with excellent dynamic range.
  • Playability-Focused Design: 24.9" scale length reduces string tension for effortless fretting and lighter touch, while maintaining volume and sustain. Available in standard (4.125") or deep body (4.500") depths for added bass when desired.
  • Premium Construction:
    • Solid mahogany back & sides (East Indian rosewood optional)
    • Solid mahogany neck with vintage-style headstock
    • Ebony or rosewood fingerboard & bridge
    • Bone nut & saddle
    • Schaller tuners
    • Style 18 appointments (rosette, purfling, bindings)
    • Open-pore satin nitro finish (gloss options available)
  • Comfort Specs: 1-3/4" nut width, 16" fingerboard radius, 2-3/16" string spacing at the saddle.

The Cirrus C000 offers heirloom-quality American craftsmanship at an accessible price — a true player’s guitar that punches far above its weight.
