Blue Chip Picks TP60

Blue Chip TP60

Triangle flat pick · 1.50 mm

The TP60 is Blue Chip’s classic triangle, the same size as the rounded TPR but with slightly sharper corners, in a 60-thousandths (1.50 mm) gauge. It is the stiffest pick in the TP line, built for heavy flatpicking and players who want maximum control and a firm attack on acoustic guitar, mandolin, and banjo. Three equal tips mean you can rotate the pick as one corner wears.

Blue Chip machines each pick from a proprietary self-lubricating composite, then hand-bevels and laser-etches it. The material does not wear into a sharp edge the way nylon and celluloid do, and it does not need chalk or grip tape. The bevel lets the tip release the string with less drag, so attack stays clear, pick noise stays low, and the note comes out fuller than a plastic pick of the same thickness.
