It keeps that body, with a lower bout around 358 mm against about 378 mm on the OM, a neck joint at the 12th fret, and a bridge set farther down the top over bracing built for that joint. Scale is 624 mm (24 9/16 in), against 650 mm on the D and OM. Furch’s aim is the same voice as the OOM, with the easier reach and softer feel of the shorter scale.

Specs

Body: OOMs, 12th-fret neck joint, non-cutaway

Lower bout: about 358 mm (OM is about 378 mm)

Top: solid Sitka spruce, individually voiced

Back and sides: solid Indian rosewood

Finish: full-pore vintage; neck is full-pore Smooth-Slide satin

Saddle: TUSQ, fully compensated; string spacing 2 3/16 in

Neck: African mahogany, Soft V, CNR System Active

Tuners: Gotoh SE700 Gold Patina, 1:15

Strings: D’Addario XS Bronze 12–53

Case: Furch T-Line hard case
